Dr. Tejinder Sodhi graduated from the "College of Veterinary Science" in Punjab, India in 1983. Dr. Sodhi came to the United States in 1985, where he did his ECFVG certification with the American Veterinary Association. As a part of certification, he completed his internship in a small animal and equine veterinary clinic and surgical internship with the Seattle Veterinary Association (Greenlake Gp) and Redmond Animal Clinic, respectively.
After working as an associate veterinarian at two different animal hospitals, Dr. Sodhi opened his own practice in Animal Hopital Of Lynnwood in 1991.In 1996, Dr. Sodhi opened his second location in Bellevue to meet the demand of growing Holistic clients in the greater Seattle area as well as on the Eastside.Dr. Sodhi's clients come to him from throughout Washington state and even from the East coast of the United States and Canada.
Over the past years he has taken time out from the clinics and continued his further education in holistic and alternative animal health by taking several weeks to months of extensive training in Veterinary Acupuncture from IVAS , Veterinary Chiropractic from AVCA, Canine rehab from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Tejinder Sodhi has given a lot to Veterinary community be serving on the Veterinary board of advisors for Seattle King County Veterinary Medical Association (SKCVMA) and Washington StateVeterinary Medical Association ( WSVMA). He was the founding president of the Holistic chapter of Washington State and served as the first president of Holistic Veterinarians in the state of Washington. As a president, he worked to promote the holistic animal care.
Raja Velu, DVM
Dr. Raja Velu graduated from the College Of Veterinary Science in Tamil Nadu, India in 2000. He was a equine practitioner in India before moving to USA in 2004. He graduated In ECFVG certification with the American Veterinary Medical Association. The Certification was followed by his Internship under the supervision of Dr. Tejinder Sodhi at both of our clinic facilities in Bellevue and Lynnwood. He also did a short time externship at Pilchuk Veterinary Hospital, Snohomish ,WA.
He has recently joined us as vetrinary physician and surgeon. His special interests are soft tissue surgeries and dentistries. His overall focus is into the wellness and rehab programs for animals. Currently he is enrolled in Acupuncture program with Colorodo State University and likely to finish the program by May 2008.
He lives in Bothel with his wife, kalpana and likes to spend his free time in a fitness club
